Yes, we are swimming in a sea of plastic now in 2024, but here at Safi we are hopeless idealists, swimming against the tide of futility. Those little green scrubbies are very useful, but…the commercially-made scrubbies aren’t biodegradable. They are made of petroleum-based materials that degrade into nano-plastics. So we are getting ready to order Euroscrubbies, which are made from cotton with a non-plastic, natural resin that makes them just abrasive enough to work well, but better than the usual scrubbies at never scratching surfaces.
